Sweet Seductions

 

Themes: materialistic desire and consumption, consumer culture, identity, emotional fulfillment through the tangible, the transactional nature of object as representational of self.

Description: This body of select works represented compilations of abstracted images of objects, both purposeful and useless found in my everyday world. Images were captured so as to obscurely call out attributes of original attraction be that design, shape, form, color, function, etc.  Images were printed on a diffused poly carbonate substrate mounted to aluminum cradle boards.
